Sitting on top of the historic Hotel Washington (“the W” in the past), just steps from the White House, this rooftop bar is a popular gathering spot known for its lively atmosphere and panoramic views. From the terrace, you can see the White House, the Washington Monument, and much of the National Mall.
Over the years, however, the menu has changed and become less tasteful, in my opinion. Still, the location and the view continue to attract large crowds. It is also a convenient place to stop for a drink or a break while touring the National Mall.
